Restaurant General Manager – Historic Virginia


We are searching for an efficient and flexible restaurant general manager to oversee a beautiful restaurant in Historic Virginia. The Restaurant General Manager will be held accountable for the restaurant’s financial and operational performance. As a restaurant general manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and teamwork. The Restaurant General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Monitoring budgets, managing expenses, and ensuring profitability through effective cost control.
  • Enhancing the dining experience through quality service, addressing customer feedback, and implementing improvements.
  • Ensuring the restaurant meets health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Overseeing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
  • Developing marketing strategies to attract customers and boost sales.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  •   2 – 4 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment is required. 
  • A proven track record of leadership and managerial skills while providing exceptional customer service is required.
