Hotel Controller – South East Florida

We have an exciting opportunity for a hotel controller in the stunning southeast of Florida. The Hotel Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the hotel, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management. This role is critical in driving the hotel’s financial performance by providing insights and recommendations based on financial data. The Hotel Controller works closely with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies that support the hotel’s goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with established accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and ownership.

The Ideal candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required); CPA or CMA designation (preferred).

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
