An award winning, luxury, resort in the Bahamas is looking for a Food & Beverage Director to oversee the entire F&B operation of this beautiful, boutique property. The ideal candidate must be able to lead a talented team and drive 5 star standards.
-The successful applicant will plan, direct, organize and control the service activities of the F&B Department to maintain high standards of F&B quality, service and merchandising to maximize profits.
-This talented leader will direct, train and motivate the F&B Department to meet the daily service needs of the operation. They will clearly describe, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various F&B sub-departments, e.g. restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, stewarding, etc.
-Applicants must have strong knowledge in all areas of F&B operations and managing a business including: leadership, quality and service, scheduling, controls and budgeting / forecasting etc
This position is a member of the Department Head Committee and reports to the General Manager.
The ideal candidate should have at least:
- 7 years in hotel F&B operations
- 4 years in a management or leadership role
- The ability to drive service and standards to a 5 star level
- Be able to lead, manage and train a diverse team
- A strong business acumen
