Director Of Food & Beverage-Beautiful Florida Keys

We are looking for a talented and experienced Director Of Food & Beverage for an ultra luxury resort in the Florida Keys!

Previous experience as a Restaurant GM or Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at a luxury 5-star resort.

  • Independent
  • Luxury property experience required.
  • Property does not do banquets. Will look at Restaurant GM, Senior F&B Managers, Assistant Director experience.
  • Former island property experience preferred.

Job Functions:  

  1.  Work closely and support the efforts of managers in all food and beverage outlets in the areas of staffing, cross training, beverage inventories, equipment, and overall support.
  2.  Oversee all food and beverage team members and managers.
  3.  Communicate and work closely with Culinary for developing menus for all food and beverage out.
  4.  Communicate and work closely with Accounting in the development of budgets, forecasts, POS, daily reporting, and special projects.
  5.  Develop team training to include food handler training/certification, customer service training, food service training, responsible vendor training, and safety/HAT committee training
  6.  Work closely with suppliers and vendors, building and upholding good relationships.
  7.  Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training all new food and beverage team.
  8.  Provide leadership for effective operations of all food and beverage related operations.
  9.  Maintain cost and labor controls to ensure maximum food and beverage profits.
  10.  Analyze costs, inventories, monthly financial statements, and competitive operations.
