Chief Engineer of Residences – Glorious South Florida

We have an amazing opportunity for a Chief Engineer of Residences in South Florida. The Chief Engineer of Residences is part of the Engineering team and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Residence building and attending to all maintenance needs and requests. This position supports the Director of Engineering in all aspects of the Residences’ operations.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for all aspects of the hotel and physical building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire and safety, HVAC refrigeration, paint, and design.
• Responsible for Life/Fire safety systems, energy/green initiative systems, and management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition.

• Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences. 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to handle difficult situations and guests.

• Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
• Previous experience in Residences or HOAs within a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Previous experience in Engineering department head/ leadership positions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Leadership and a positive attitude that motivates others.
