We are searching for an incredible Banquet Sous Chef for a stunning luxury hotel in South Florida. The Banquet Sous Chef supervises kitchen staff, ensures the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes, and maintains kitchen cleanliness, safety, and organization. This role requires a strong culinary background, leadership abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations for banquet events, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure all banquet meals are prepared in accordance with the event specifications, menu requirements, and food safety standards.
- Assist with menu planning, portion control, and recipe standardization for large-scale events.
- Help develop and implement kitchen systems to optimize efficiency and maintain consistency in food quality.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive Banquet Kitchen experience in a hotel or resort.
- Culinary leadership experience in a luxury and upscale property experience required
