Assistant Hotel Controller- Florida East Coast

We have an exciting opportunity for a luxury assistant hotel controller in stunning Florida’s East Coast. The Assistant Hotel Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the hotel, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management. The Hotel Controller works closely with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies that support the hotel’s goals.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with established accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and ownership.

The Ideal candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance required
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading the audit process and managing a team of accounting staff.
